When using a Relative Date (dynamic) filter, the results will vary depending on when the Ad Hoc View/Report/Dashboard is run.
When using relative date range such as QUARTER – 1 to DAY -1 the actual day you review the report will determine the results. If you generate the report on the 15th of the month it will return results from the start of the previous quarter to the reporting date. This type of filter is best used in conjunction with a scheduled report that is generated on the 1st day of the month.
