The Repository is the central storage location of all saved Ad Hoc Views, Reports and Dashboards created for your Community BI system.
Ad Hoc Views
The term “Ad Hoc View” in business analytics reporting, generally is created for one-time use to find the answer to a specific business question. BUT In Community BI “Ad Hoc Views” can be created and saved to be used as the base of Reports and Dashboards. Ad Hoc Views are stored in the Repository

A Dashboard consists of dashlets – individual items that are added to the dashboard. These may include Ad-Hoc views (chart, table or crosstab), Reports, Text, Webpages or images. Dashboards are stored in the Repository A Dashboard can include input controls for choosing the data displayed in one or more dashlets. Dashboards can also be configured to be viewed from within your CRM Database. Dashboards are stored in the Repository
Scheduling
Scheduling is the process of creating a task which will automatically run a BI report at a certain time and date. You may choose to have the report stored in the BI repository, emailed to particular users, or both. Scheduling allows you to set up regular reports to run and be distributed without having to log into Community BI or the CRM database.
